Crea-Lite
Crea-Lite is one of our greatest inventions in the last year. It is a decorative glass, created individually according to wishes of the customer, with relief elements or a combination of relief elements and coloured glass.
The first application of CREA-LITE® was in the Dutch Institute for Audio-visual Media (Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid) in Hilversum, whose façade consisting of 2,244 panes of SGG CREA LITE® glass, representing 374 different film scenes. The project was developed by SAS GLAS and Saint-Gobain Glassolutions.
LEDinGlass
LEDinGLASS: Glass plates which glow and produce coloured lighting effects with a pulsating light. LEDinGLASS is a complete system with endless colour and light scenarios for indoor and outdoor applications. It opens up new ways to design light and glass more emotionally and facilitates the realization of customer-related wishes, such as, for example, lively glass areas for advertising purposes.
One of the first applications worldwide was created by the Belgian facade specialist Drooghmans in Antwerp.
Electrochromic glass
ELECTROCHROME: transparent double or triple glazing which can transform itself from clear to dark blue. The quantity of light and heat which can penetrate into a room can be adjusted depending on solar radiation and individual comfort requirements.
ELECTROCHROME consistently controls the outside light and thermal comfort. Interior or exterior blinds are no longer required and the need, for example, of air-conditioners or heating systems is minimized, while the view of the outside remains completely clear.
Applications: penthouses and luxury villas, luxury hotels and apartment houses, large yachts and cruisers, museums...
E-GLASS
E-GLASS is double or triple glazing with a built-in invisible heating system and creates the feeling of invisible warmth. It has a variety of qualities like anti condensation, heating and the melting of snow and makes durable and transparent glass architecture possible in all kinds of weather! And it additionally has a pleasant and cosy feeling of well-being. With E-Glass and its diverse glass combinations you will experience a new feeling of well-being!

Thermovit
THERMOVIT Elegance is electrically heatable glass, transparent, mirror-coated or individually designed for the interior area. THERMOVIT Elegance is a design glass solution which produces a pleasant radiant heat. It is suitable as an elegant, almost invisible and discreet room heating (e.g. in front of windows, as a glazed partition wall or as a decorative element), as towel dryer or simple as a heated mirror.
PRIVA-LITE
PRIVA-LITE is a laminated glass which, at the touch of a button, can change its condition from translucent to transparent. Thanks to its instant change of condition, PRIVA-LITE offers new design options and can also be used as a projection surface. It is an active glass, which with the same light permeability can transform itself from a translucent to a transparent condition.
Clima-Coat
ClimaCoat is the new generation of heatable windscreens from Saint-Gobain Sekurit. As a world innovation in automobile glazing, it unites two key functions in one windscreen: heating in the winter and protection from the sun in summer. In 2011, the new all-weather windscreen was introduced in the new VW Passat.
A multilayer conductive coating is deposited on one of the inner glass surfaces of the laminated windscreen. This is completely invisible so that the view forwards is not impaired in any way.

BIOCLEAN
A transparent coating on the outside of the glass harnesses the power of both sun and rain to efficiently remove dirt and grime.
Exposure to the UV rays present in daylight triggers the decomposition of organic dirt and prevents mineral dirt from adhering to the surface of the glass. It also turns it “hydrophilic” meaning that when it rains the water sheets across the glass, without forming droplets, rinsing away the broken down dirty residues. Only a small amount of sunlight is required to activate the coating so the self-cleaning function will work even on cloudy days. A simple rinse of water during dry spells will help keep windows clean.
Vario System Products
Developed, tested and marketed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institut für Bauphysik: the intelligent ISOVER Vario complete system against damage caused by damp. Unlike PE damp-proof membranes, the climate membranes have a variable diffusion resistance. As a result, the usual damp in the timber of roof structures can dry out faster and more surely. At the same time, they prevent the humidity contained in the interiors gaining access to the roof structure. Roof structures are thus reliably protected against damage due to damp.
Isover G3 Touch
Besides the familiar sure clamping effect, our innovative product with its improved structure is now also much simpler to install. Pleasant and softer than our previous glass wool, the innovative G3 Touch mineral wool offers noticeably more handling comfort. Thanks to the optimized binder formula it has also been possible to make an improvement to the odour. Of course, G3 Touch mineral wool presents absolutely no danger to health. And the environment is also provided for: G3 Touch consists to 95 percent of natural mineral raw materials.

VacuPad 007
When every centimetre counts, VacuPad 007 is just what you need. With a thickness of 31mm, our product innovation is slimmer than conventional insulating materials and thus helps to save valuable living space in the interior insulation. Thus, VacuPad is outstandingly suitable for special cases in protected historic buildings, for steep roofs and basement ceilings with a low ceiling height and for the closure of heat bridges. An insulating core made of silicic acid is enclosed in a vacuum with a multi-layered aluminium-plastic film and securely welded together. The result is an extremely thin insulating board. An elastic sealing tape at the edges additionally reduces the formation of heat bridges. Thus, five times the insulating performance is possible with the same thickness.
Rigidur H
Rigidur H plaster fibreboards with the new standard: natural air cleaning effect for healthy home interiors. The Rigidur H plaster fibre board is not only itself a construction-biological healthy building-material, but can also actively remove pollutants from the room air. The absorption and decomposure of air pollutants is carried out in the Rigidur H board and ensures improved room air. They remove formaldehyde from the room air by up to 98%. It removes or reduces many more pollutants from the room air in the form of volatile organic compounds (VOC).

Rigitherm 032
The new Rigitherm 032 system offers an integral solution. It consists of a high heat-insulating sandwich plasterboard which, in combination with the Rifix Thermoplus adhesive already provides a lasting protection against condensation. The capillarily inactive sandwich plasterboard is now improved with a newly-developed, particularly slim thermal plasterboard for use in window recesses or radiator niches, as well as a "thermal profile". Taking into account the basic constructional physical principle, the interior insulation of outer walls represents an equal effective measure as the classic façade insulation from the outside. An interior insulation helps to avoid heat losses and simultaneously ensures a significant shortening of the warming-up times of rooms. The heating energy saved thus not only spares the purse of the building owners, but also natural resources and the environment.
weber.therm LockPlate
These are high heat-insulating vacuum insulation panels, with which a vacuum façade insulation can be completed with up to 35% more efficiency than previously. Thanks to a patented laying technology, they can be processed suitably for the construction site, economically and almost with an absence of heat bridges which could detract from the performance. In the trend-setting system, the sensitive vacuum insulation panels (VIP) are integrated in EPS boards and as a result effectively protected from damage on the construction site. In addition, the insulating panels can be cut in the area of the edges and also dowelled without the vacuum core being damaged.
weber BlueComfort
The BlueComfort technology from Weber is a new and innovative binder. The three BlueComfort tile adhesives are more flexible as a result and have a higher adhesive tensile strength. At the same time, users benefit from comfortable processing. The products can be pulled up noticeably more easily and do not irritate the skin on contact. Thanks to their light colour adhesives are also suitable for transparent natural stone surfaces. BlueComfort products have very low emissions and make an important contribution to protection of the environment and health. In addition, they offer the greatest possible protection against room air pollution.

Avancis Powermax
The module was developed for highest snow burden zones according to DIN 1055 and withstands loads of over 551 kg/sq.m. The aluminium hollow chamber framework is extremely torsion and corrosion-resistant. The glass is floatingly supported on a layer of highly elastic polymer. The module is laminated with a PVB foil that has been tried and tested in automotive engineering. Additional stability is provided by the hardened windscreen. A seal made of butyl protects the cells from moisture.
With a comparable degree of effectiveness to multi-crystalline silicon solar modules, PowerMax® convinces through its halved energetic payback time and its optimal power output (kWh/kWp). The high-quality design looks good on any roof.
PAM BluTop
Blutop is a completely new and innovative concept where classic arguments per cast are convincing, such as, for example, the diffusion resistance of the pipe wall or the ageing resistance of the material. Then there is the simple and rapid installation, because the pipes weigh less than 50 kg and can be carried by hand into the ditch. Another advantage for the user lies in the fact that each sleeve form piece and each gate valve can be used as a transition from cast iron pipes in DN/OD series to synthetic pipes - and this even longitudinally-locking versions without welding.
Solglide
With solar tracking systems in solar power stations, the Solglide bearings help to reduce the initial investment, operational and maintenance costs. Both types of bearing reduce the friction and wear compared to other models on the market by 50 percent and thus retain the payback performance of the tracking system over the complete lifetime of the bearings. Besides the improved performance and the costs and operational savings, solar energy companies can reduce their carbon footprint with the bearings, in that they obtain their components directly from one of the Saint-Gobain production locations in their region.

Norton 4x4 Explorer
Norton's “4x4 Explorer” is the first diamond wheel, which makes it possible to cut all the usual building materials such as concrete, granite, asphalt and even steel with both dry and wet cutting methods. In addition, this up to now unique diamond wheel can be used on all separating grinders, table saws and joint cutters.
The “4x4 Explorer” benefits from several new Norton innovations, including the “depth of cut indicator", for which a patent has been applied for, which increase the cutting speed and service life in the step cutting process. It has a previously unparalleled versatility for cutting all the usual building materials, starting with concrete and granite, via asphalt and fireclay right through to iron and steel.
Norton Silencio
Pedestrian precincts and residential zones, city centres, schools and hospitals are all areas in which the reduction of noise pollution, not least also as a result of an increasing number of legal regulations, is becoming increasingly important. For this reason, Norton has developed the new NORTON SILENCIO which drastically reduces the noise produced right at its source. Through a revolutionary technology, the laser-welded NORTON SILENCIO achieves an unmatched noise reduction of up to 15 dB (A). For the first time, the steel core configuration, for which a patent has been applied for, makes a clear reduction of those acoustic frequencies possible which are extremely unpleasant to the human ear (whistling effects) when using diamond wheels. In addition, with up to 17 mm segment height and tailor-made specifications for each application, the NORTON SILENCIO offers the best cutting result in the NORTON CLIPPER diamond wheel series.
