How have you progressed in your career at Saint-Gobain so far?
I started here in 1997 as an industrial electronics technician specializing in process automation, then moved into measurement and control technology, did my technician and completed an internal career program. I am now responsible for 80 employees.

What do you think is special about working at Saint-Gobain?
I've been with the company for over 20 years now and have found this wonderful point where people fit the job and the job fits the people. I can adapt my work to my personal circumstances and continue to learn. These are perfect conditions.

I actually have a gastronomic background and have changed industries as part of a special initiative by Saint-Gobain Building Distribution. They were looking for employees with service experience and customer orientation. It's really great how my colleagues reacted to people outside the industry. I was always helped with specialist knowledge and tips so that I could find my way around as quickly as possible.
