V.I.E. Development Engineer Electrical Connection and Soldering (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Organization, implementation of experimental studies in the area of electrical connectors on glass, soldering process, material investigation (e.g. of solder joints)
  • Statistical analysis and evaluation of generated raw data
  • Presentation, documentation and discussion of results
  • Design and realization of lab setups for soldering trials and tests
  • Manage studies and work packages for R&D projects
  • Deepening group’s know-how by studying literature as well as contact to internal and external experts

Your profile

  • University degree, preferably with focus on physics, material science, metallurgy  or similar
  • You enjoy experimental work and have distinctive analytic thinking
  • Independent, self-driven and well-structured way of working
  • passionate and motivated team player and good communication skills
  • Language skills: Good written and spoken English required, preferably basic knowledge of German

About the V.I.E. program

The V.I.E. carries out his/her assignment in a French company operating overseas. Interns can work in a variety of domains.

  • The latest your assignment can start is on the day of your 29th birthday. No exceptions can be made.
  • You must have European nationality (i.e. be a national of a Member State of the European Economic Area, which includes the 28 Member States of the European Union including Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Monaco)
