V.I.E. Glass Mechanics & Optics (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Support of R&D projects
  • Organization, planning and communication for work packages of R&D projects
  • Support of competence center glass mechanics in standardization, training and integration of new measurement procedures
  • Development and evaluation of measurement techniques and procedures in mechanics and optics of glass products
  • Planning, organization and evaluation of test programs and measurements

Your profile

  • University degree, preferably with focus on physics, engineering, material science (M.Sc./Eng.) or similar
  • Independent and well-structured way of work, strong analytical skills
  • Versed handling of the MS-Office package
  • Motivated team player and good communication skills
  • Very good command of English
  • Good command of French and / or German is a plus

About the V.I.E. program

The V.I.E. carries out his/her assignment in a French company operating overseas. Interns can work in a variety of domains.
  • The latest your assignment can start is on the day of your 29th birthday. No exceptions can be made.
  • You must have European nationality (i.e. be a national of a Member State of the European Economic Area, which includes the 28 Member States of the European Union including Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Monaco)
